Fire Sprinkler InspectorCentury Fire Protection Charlotte - Charlotte, NC 28206Position Type Full Time Travel Percentage Up to 25%Inspect it. Find it. Fix it. Protect what matters.Century Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to inspect, test, and service fire sprinkler systems while identifying deficiencies and helping ensure systems are ready when they're needed most.Perform inspections, testing, servicing, installation, and preventative maintenance of water-based and sprinkler systems.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and fire codes.Test systems for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment.Identify deficiencies and complete detailed service documentation.Coordinate inspection deficiencies with the service needed to correct them.Communicate with the Service Manager and Inspections Coordinator regarding job status, delays, and requirements.Help ensure customers receive work according to the proposed scope.Perform other duties as assigned.High school diploma or GED.2–3 years of experience inspecting various fire sprinkler systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation.NICET II or III certification preferred.Backflow certification preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.Clean MVR required.Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.You're the eyes and ears of the fire sprinkler system.
