QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university teacher education program. Arkansas teacher's license appropriate for level and/or subject area assignment. Competence in the total teaching experience demonstrated in the submission of an electronic portfolio that highlights designing coherent instruction, the use of questioning and discussion techniques, engaging students in learning, and the incorporation of technology in the classroom. Instruction: Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media consistent with the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved - communicating with students, using questioning and discussion techniques, engaging students in learning, using assessment in instruction, utilizing technology, etc. Integrates STEM concepts and inquiry methodologies into units and lessons. Effectively infuses technology into instructional activities and the overall learning experiences. Professional Responsibilities: Develops and adheres to professional responsibilities - reflecting on teaching, maintaining accurate records, communication with families, contributing to the assigned School and the District at large, growing and developing professionally, showing professionalism, using data to inform instruction, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.
